The Canterbury Fire Brigades Gold Star Association consists of over 300 serving and retired Fire Service personnel who are recipients of the United Fire Brigade’s Association of New Zealand 25-year Gold Star award, and from the FRFANZ (Forest and Rural Fire Association of NZ ) who are recipients of their 25 yr Medal
Our history
From modest beginnings, we've grown through a lot of changes and integrity.
Our first meeting was held in Kaiapoi in 1965 and celebrated our 50th year in 2016.
